Live dealer poker is very different to pier to pier online poker. For all live games, you are playing against the house, not other players. The range of available live poker games has been steadily growing over the last couple of years, thanks largely to Evolution Gaming.
Live poker variations you can now play online, are…
Live Texas Hold’em Poker: Your Ante bet starts the game. You then dealt 2 pocket cards, face up and the dealer takes 2 face down. You then get a chance to check or raise post pockets, Flop or River. Only 1 raise permitted per round though!
Live Caribbean Stud Poker: An Ante bet kicks off proceedings. You get 5 face up cards, dealer gets 5 cards (4 face down). At this point you can fold, or raise (2x Ante) to see if you beat the dealers’s hand.
Live Casino Holdem Poker: This was the first live poker variation available online, and now offered by quite a few providers. An Ante bet gets you 2 pocket cards and a look at the Flop. Place a Call bet (2x Ante) and you see the Turn, River and a reveal of the dealer’s pockets to see you’ve won.
Live 3 Card Poker: Aim of the game here is to get a better 3 card poker hand than the dealer.
